For Japanese tea ceremony,"Dogu"[equipment] is inseparable. the "Mizusashi" is a freshwater jar used in chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony) to supply water for replenishing the kettle and rinsing the tea bowl. They say that "Sado"(tea ceremony) epitomize Japanese world view or aesthetic in another word, Japanese culture. Wabi Sabi is a key word to understand it. I feel It runs inside of me. Making anything to do with the ceremony brace myself up everytime I sit in front of my potter's wheel.
